Fellowship: Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery
The Division of Urology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking applicants for a one year clinical fellowship in minimally invasive urologic surgery starting on July 1, 2018.This fellowship is accredited by the Endourological Society and will focus on advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery techniques in urologic oncology. Operative experience will include laparoscopic nephrectomy, laparoscopic cytoreductive nephrectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic prostatectomy, and robotic cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion and RPLND. In addition, opportunities are available in the following areas:robotic reconstructive procedures, percutaneous renal access, advanced ureteroscopic management for nephrolithiasis, ureteral strictures and medical management of nephrolithiasis.The fellow will be expected to contribute to resident training and ongoing research projects within the Division of Urology and to develop their own projects through protected research time.
