UMass Memorial Healthcare, the academic teaching hospital and clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, is seeking a full-time board-certified Psychiatrist at our PTRC Queens Street location in Worcester, MA.
The Psychiatric Treatment and Recovery Center is a 24-bed locked, acute psychiatric unit located at 26 Queen Street in Worcester. This program provides acute clinical care to patients challenged by significant mental illness and have or will need intense community support following discharge.
Under the direction of the center’s medical director and attending psychiatrists, patients receive a complete clinical assessment including psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy and social work, as well as limited referrals to other medical services depending on individual evaluations and treatment plans.
